I just recently received this short email from a patient, and it really made my day. I asked Pat if I could share his email on the website, and he said go ahead, so I decided to add it here this evening.

I’ve been meaning to mention that I’m glad I got to see you recently. I hadn’t seen you for over a month & a couple trips outta town. I was tender when I came in, but the day after my visit I didn’t need to take any pain medicine until almost 4pm. It’s been about 3 years since that happened.

Then the following day I was tender again, but since then I’ve been feeling better & better, like I reached a significant healing point. I’ve felt so good that i actually rode a bike yesterday for the first time in over 3 yrs. I didn’t go up any hills or anything – I walked it up those – but even so I was expecting some kickback today & was happily suprised. Again I didn’t need any pain medicine until late afternoon.

I hope I’ve rounded a huge corner in this painful game of life. Saturday I accidently moved a heavy box too, but there was no pain immediate or after several hours. I instinctively tighten all those “core” muscles now after years of practice and I’ve started getting a little more serious about my stretches, to try to get some of that range of motion back.

Things are looking GREAT!!!
